Model Selection Guide
When selecting and ordering an air conditioning unit, users should carefully calculate the cooling capacity required during summer and the heating capacity required during winter. The unit can only effectively control temperature and humidity if the cooling (or heating) load does not exceed its rated capacity.
Key Considerations for Model Selection ✅
1️⃣ Performance Parameters & Adjustments
- The performance parameter table provides the nominal cooling capacity and airflow of the unit.
- If the actual operating conditions differ from the nominal conditions, adjustments must be made accordingly.
2️⃣ Air Duct Resistance Matching
- The resistance of the air supply duct should be matched with the external static pressure of the air conditioning unit.
3️⃣ Installation Requirements for Air-Cooled Units
- The height difference between the outdoor and indoor units should be ≤ 20m.
- The connection pipe length should be ≤ 30m.
- The outdoor unit should not be installed below the indoor unit to prevent:
- Insufficient cooling capacity
- Poor compressor oil return, which may lead to severe damage or burnout.
4️⃣ Left-Hand vs. Right-Hand Piping Configuration
- Facing the front of the unit, if the piping connection is on the left, it is a left-hand model; if on the right, it is a right-hand model.
- The standard configuration is left-hand; if a right-hand model is required, please specify this when ordering.
5️⃣ Heating Options
- The default heating method is electric heating.
- If steam coil heating or hot water coil heating is required, please specify when ordering.
6️⃣ Control Panel & Temperature/Humidity Sensors
- The control panel and temperature/humidity sensors are inside the unit by default.
- If they need to be installed externally, please specify the following details when ordering:
a. Wiring distance between the control panel and the unit.
b. Placement of the temperature/humidity sensors (inside the room or in the return air duct).
c. Wiring distance between the sensors and the unit.
7️⃣ Fresh Air Intake Considerations
- Excessive fresh air intake affects temperature and humidity control accuracy.
- If the fresh air ratio exceeds 15%, please specify when ordering.
8️⃣ Special Requirements (Specify When Ordering)
- Centralized computer control or remote monitoring.
- Customized unit dimensions.
- Pre-installed fresh air intake connection.
- Compressor placement inside the indoor unit.
9️⃣ Cooling Load Estimation for Certain Buildings
